The rustic-finished surface is coated with a layer of silica crystals applied to the tile prior to firing, providing the product with sufficient protection to render an initial treatment unnecessary. In certain areas, such as the kitchen or dining room, we recommend applying a water-repellent product to ensure the tile is fully waterproofed.

Once the floor has been laid and cleaned, should any obvious dull patches or scratches appear, apply a coat of liquid maintenance wax. As the product features a variegated finish, we recommend mixing several packs of tiles to achieve a surface with a uniformly mottled colour.

The NATURALE variant is an extension of the STRATOS version, achieved by applying a layer of crystalline silica to the raw surface prior to firing, resulting in a more reddish hue. Like the raw NATURALE, it offers a wide range of floor tiles and special pieces, including square handrails.
